Dryland Training

We see more and more athletes and coaches touting the benefits of “dryland training” and “cross training” in a variety of sports. There is a very good reason for this. Dry land training is a vital part of any effective sports training program. Muscle strength, flexibility, and agility translate directly into competition and overall performance, regardless of the specific sport. Dry land training also creates muscle balance by training muscle groups not commonly used in the repetitive movements of many specialized sports.
